DP World decided to invest in inland terminals to help decongesting all road axes leading to the deep sea ports and the deep sea ports themselves but also on the customer demand to have greener ways of transport. That’s why DP World Liège terminal also invested in a railway with direct access to the terminal. DP World supports the reduction of CO2 through purchasing/renting hybrid or electrical machines whenever it’s possible. DP World Liège started operating mid 2016 with a brand new terminal in the Liège area. DP World Liège is located in the new industrial zone of Trilogiport in Hermalle-sous-Argenteau. DP World Liège is the youngest of DP World’s inland terminals. It started operations in November 2015 and is located in the heart of Liège Trilogiport, an industrial logistics and warehousing park, with direct access to the Albert-Canal. The port is designed with tri-modal capabilities and the infrastructure around Liège is connecting the highly populated EUREGIO hinterland (includes the south of Belgium, south of the Netherlands, France, Luxemburg and the west of Germany) with the Western European deep sea ports. DP World Liège enhances the efficiency of our customers’ supply chain by effectively managing container traffic including container stripping and/or stuffing.

About the Boat trip Ghent: river cruise ‘De Gentse Barge’! A boat trip on the Lys River as from Ghent towards Deurle with a historical ship from the 18th century! A fun discovery tour of Ghent during 3 hours by making use of 3 different types of transport ! We start with a discovery tour of the historical city center of Ghent by horse carriage during 1 hour (capacity horse carriage: between 14 and 18 persons per carriage) We end our tour at the quay of the boat company situated along the beautiful Korenlei. By boat we make a guided tour during 40 minutes and see the mediaeval city through a different angle.
